Role Summary:

The Sales Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the sales department. This includes creating sales reports, managing customer databases, coordinating sales activities, and providing excellent customer service to clients.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Assist the sales team in achieving sales targets by providing administrative support as required.

  • Manage customer databases and ensure that all sales orders & records are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Create and distribute sales reports to the sales team, management, and other stakeholders as required.

  • Coordinate sales activities such as scheduling appointments, preparing sales presentations, and maintaining sales records.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to ensure that the sales process runs smoothly.

  • Maintain an organized filing system for sales documents, contracts, and other related materials.

  • Assist with the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to ensure that the sales team is well-informed and equipped to meet the needs of clients.

What we're looking for:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in a sales administration or support role, preferably in a B2B environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
